A visit to the ancient city of Akrotiri unfolds the past, while the view from the caldera with the whitewashed, blue domed churches is only there to take your breath away.

Tour Highlights

Oia

One of the most photographed settlements worldwide, Oia holds the key to romance…Gracefully balancing on steep slope, with its marble paved streets right at the edge of the rim, it feels mesmerizing during sunset time. Stroll around this small, picturesque village and feel the vibes of a place nourished by the bright summer sun and the Aegean breeze.

Akrotiri Ancient City

Patiently waiting for centuries to be unearthed, the city of Akrotiri finally came to light in 1967. The bronze age settlement thrived for more than 600 years, before the massive Theran eruption sealed it under thick layers of ash, sometime in the 16th century BC.
Remarkably well-preserved, frescoes, pottery and furniture, advanced drainage systems and three -story buildings stand still in time, waiting to be once again appreciated by modern day visitors.

Pyrgos

Built amphitheatrically on a hill, Pyrgos is privileged with a mesmerizing 360o view of the island. Home to one of the best-preserved Venetian castles that once graced Santorini, it has managed to maintain its original characteristics, featuring a much more relaxing atmosphere, in contrast to the fussy island centers. Gazing around, the architecture lines of a former fortress blend in perfect harmony with all contemporary facilities, like elegant restaurants and all kinds of shops.

Profitis Elias Monastery

Built in the 18th century on the highest peak of the island, the monastery dedicated to Profitis Elias is a stunning example of Cycladic architecture at its best. Standing tall at 567m above the level of the sea, this sanctuary shelters rare clerical artefacts, scripts, and unique Byzantine icons and sculptures. Its chapel is decorated with beautiful frescoes and unique religion icons.

Emporio

A peaceful, charming village, built in the lowlands of Profitis Elias hill, Emporio is not only the largest village of Santorini, but it also surrounds one of the five 14th century Venetian castles of the island. Wander around its narrow paths all the way up to the medieval “Castelli” and find yourself bewitched in a fairytale full of lovely little houses and yards, overhead bridges connecting residencies, arches covering tiny pathways and humble whitewashed churches. Traditional coffee shops and restaurants are scattered all around, making local delicacies “meze” impossible to resist.

Red Beach

A small secluded natural bay, nesting inside a blood-red rocky wall. Its color, attributed to iron oxidization in the volcanic rock, makes the red beach one of the greatest attractions in Santorini. Rough beauty, literary born of disaster.

Akrotiri Lighthouse

Holding its ground as one of the oldest lighthouses in Greece, this is one of the most fascinating settings to enjoy the evening sky. Built by a French trading company back in 1892, it dominates the southwestern tip of Santorini, while the surrounding landscape and the Aegean Sea blend with the horizon, altogether creating a unique canvas of natural beauty.

Perivolos & Perissa

Famous for being the most bustling spot in Santorini, the huge beach of Perivolos and Perissa, stretches 7km on the coastline, well-known for its volcanic black sand and deep, crystal-clear water. Perfect for spending the day under the Greek sun, Perivolos and Perissa simply have it all: restaurants, beach clubs, shops, water sports, even night clubs!

Kamari

Being the ideal setting to spend a lazy day at the beach, Kamari is a seaside village with a 5km long coastline. Restaurants, beach lounges, pubs and small shops occupy the traditional alley in line with the black sand beach, all intertwined in a bright, tranquil ambience, most visitors can’t get enough of!
